Merchant Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Address-access clarification: 4 October 2026.
In one paragraph. These terms are the agreement between you — the merchant installing Savrena on your Shopify store — and us. They say what the service does, what data it touches, who is responsible for what, and how either of us can end it. You accept the current version explicitly inside the authenticated app; installation alone is not recorded as acceptance. The Privacy Policy and the current Data Processing Addendum form part of them only when all three are presented for acceptance.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Savrena is operated by 95 Info Services, India ("Savrena", "we", "us"). "You" means the business that installs or uses the Savrena app on a Shopify store, and anyone you allow to use it on your behalf.
You can reach us at support@savrena.com for service, legal, security and data-protection questions. Savrena is operated by one owner, who answers this mailbox.
2. Accepting these terms
The authenticated app shows the current Terms, Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum version identifiers and links. The current Data Processing Addendum is presented as a separate versioned link. You accept them by checking the authorisation statement and submitting it for your store. We record the store, exact document versions, time and authenticated actor. Installing or merely opening the app does not create that acceptance.
This explicit acceptance has the same effect as a signature on paper. Where an approved Data Processing Addendum incorporates the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, your acceptance of that current agreement version is your signature to those clauses and their annexes.
Shopify billing approval is unavailable until an owner-approved Addendum is published at the link shown in the app and all current versions are accepted. Billing remains unavailable until that release gate is satisfied. A pending or unavailable agreement does not interrupt mandatory order capture or Shopify privacy handling, so an installation or material update does not silently lose orders. If you do not accept the terms, do not configure destinations or approve billing and uninstall the app.
3. What the service does
Savrena is server-side conversion tracking. In plain terms:
- It records shopping events on your store — page and product views, carts, checkouts, purchases and refunds — from a Shopify web pixel, from Shopify's own webhooks, and where you use one, from your third-party checkout provider.
- It sends those events onward to the launch destinations you configure: Meta Conversions API, Google Ads and Google Analytics 4.
- It de-duplicates events so a purchase seen by both the browser and the server is reported once, not twice.
- It builds product catalogue feeds for Google Merchant Center and Meta, if you enable them.
- It shows you, in the console, what was received and exactly what was sent to each destination.
That is the whole of it. Savrena does not place ads, does not spend your budget, and does not make decisions on your behalf.
4. What data the app accesses
The app requests these Shopify access scopes and no others: read_orders, read_products, read_inventory, read_customer_events, write_pixels, read_customer_email, read_customer_phone and read_customer_name. It uses each of them; it does not request scopes it does not use.
Through those it receives your orders, refunds, carts and checkouts, your products and inventory levels, and storefront events from the web pixel. Where Shopify has approved us for them, the data includes email address, phone number and name for conversion matching. The app requests Shopify's protected customer Address category solely for city, province/state, postal code and country matching and reporting from permitted sources. Shopify groups street and postal fields in that category, but Savrena does not use street address lines or retain or transmit them for matching. A request is not Shopify approval; missing permission or fields do not stop order capture, recovery or deduplication.
Section 3 of the Privacy Policy lists every category in detail, including what we do not take. Street address is not requested as an application use. Incoming payloads may contain street address fields, but they are removed or redacted before diagnostic persistence: street address is not used, stored or delivered to any destination. Other personal fields the service does not use are also stripped out of the stored copy of every payload.
5. How that data is used and transferred
This is the heart of the service, so it is worth being exact.
- We use your data to provide the service to you — capturing events, matching and de-duplicating them, forwarding them to your destinations, building your feeds, and showing you the results.
- We transfer it to the destinations you configure, and to nobody else. Each destination is one you added and can remove. We do not choose them, and we do not send to a destination you have not connected.
- Contact details are hashed before they are sent. Email addresses and phone numbers go to advertising platforms as SHA-256 hashes, never as readable values.
- Those platforms are not our sub-processors. When you connect Meta, Google or any other destination, you are instructing us to send your data to a company you have your own relationship and your own terms with. What they do with it is governed by their terms, not ours, and they may do more with it than we promise. The Data Processing Addendum sets this out in full.
- We do not sell your data, do not share it with anyone for their own advertising, do not build profiles that span merchants, and never use one merchant's data to serve another.
- Our own suppliers process data only to provide infrastructure services to us, under contract. They are listed in the Subprocessor Register incorporated into the Data Processing Addendum.
6. Data protection
For your customers' personal data you are the controller and we are your processor: we act on your instructions, and configuring a destination is such an instruction. The Data Processing Addendum governs that processing and forms part of these terms. Where it and these terms conflict on a data protection question, the Addendum wins.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the processing you ask us to perform, for telling your own customers about it in your privacy policy, and for handling their requests to see or delete their data — we will help you answer them.
7. What we ask of you
- Use the service lawfully, and only on stores you are entitled to administer.
- Keep your console credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you think they have been compromised.
- Do not attempt to access another merchant's data, disrupt the service, or work around its limits.
- Make sure the destinations you connect are yours to connect.
8. Shopify's position
Shopify requires us to tell you the following, and we agree with all of it:
- We are solely responsible for the Savrena app. It is our product, built and maintained by us.
- Shopify is not liable for any fault in the app, or for any harm that may result from installing or using it.
- Shopify cannot help you with installing or using the app, except where Shopify itself says otherwise. Come to us.
- We are solely responsible for any liability arising from your access to or use of the app — including its development, use, marketing, distribution and support, and including our access to, use of, distribution of and storage of your data.
9. Availability, and what we do not promise
We work to keep the service running and accurate, and we would rather tell you about a problem than have you find it. But we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we cannot promise that an advertising platform will accept, match or attribute every event we send it — that decision is theirs and their rules change without notice.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those set out in these terms.
What we do promise: we will not knowingly let a failure stay silent. Where the service can detect that something has stopped working, it tells you.
10. Money
Paid service starts only after you approve the subscription on Shopify's confirmation screen. That screen states the recurring plan price, the included order allowance, the per-order usage price above that allowance, the maximum usage charge for each 30-day billing interval, and the date on which the 30-day trial ends. Shopify's approved subscription is the billing authority; billing is not triggered by a first successful event or by connecting a destination.
The launch catalog is Core at $139 USD every 30 days with 3,000 orders included, then $0.10 per order; Growth at $299 USD with 10,000 orders included, then $0.05 per order; and Scale at $799 USD with 50,000 orders included, then $0.03 per order. The Shopify usage cap for the selected plan is shown before approval and is never guessed by the app: if its owner-approved cap is not configured, subscription creation is blocked.
Only a production purchase with a proven Shopify order identity counts toward usage, once. Test orders, synthetic test notifications, pre-install history, trial-period orders and Admin API backfills do not create usage charges. Refunds and cancellations do not reverse an order that already counted. Where practical, we intend to notify you at least three days before your usage is projected to cross the included threshold. That notification does not create a grace period and is not a condition of a charge already approved through Shopify.
11. Liability
Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost revenue, arising out of these terms.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you have paid us nothing, our liability is limited accordingly.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending it
You can end these terms at any time by uninstalling the app. You do not need to ask us, and there is nothing to cancel separately.
We may end them if you materially breach them and do not put it right within 30 days of us telling you, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice.
When it ends, your data is deleted. We delete your store's data within 30 days of you uninstalling the app, which is the deadline Shopify sets. In practice the system erases an uninstalled store automatically after a short grace period, so that reinstalling within it — after an accidental uninstall, or while changing plans — leaves your history intact. If you want your data erased immediately instead, ask us and we will do it.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Data Processing Addendum materially, we will tell you directly in the authenticated app before billing can continue under the new version. Presentation and acceptance are recorded separately. We will not treat a new date at the top of this page as notice on its own.
A material change to any document in the versioned set requires explicit reacceptance. Pending reacceptance does not stop mandatory order capture or privacy deletion. If you do not accept a change, do not approve further billing and uninstall the app.
14. The rest
- What makes up this agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Data Processing Addendum. Together they are the entire agreement between us about the service.
- You are free to do business as you wish. Nothing in these terms stops you using a competing product, building your own, or working with anyone you choose, during or after our agreement. We ask for no exclusivity and impose no non-compete.
- Assignment. Neither of us may transfer these terms without the other's consent, except to a successor of substantially the whole business.
- Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat, India have jurisdiction — except that nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer or data protection law in your own country.
